Seriously?

Remember how I was all excited about seeing the San Diego Temple?  Remember how it's always been my favorite, and I had waited for like 18 years to see it in person?

Well, apparently, right now it doesn't look like itself.  It's gone from this:

To this:

OK, so what I'm getting is, that they've decided to clean it. When I FINALLY get a chance to see it, it's completely covered in scaffolding.

That is SO not cool.

I saw that in the church news yesterday and thought of you. So sorry.

That totally stinks...we went to it last year and was not anything like that...not exactly something you would think you would need to check ahead for...excuse me? does the temple have scaffolding on it? so sorry...you will get to see it again and at least it will be clean!

Oh funny! How long does the cleaning take?

At least you didn't plan a wedding there this summer. Those people are probably crying!

On the same note as Jeanette, just think of all the poor bride's wedding pictures! We were just there in June too and saw all these newly married couples getting their pictures taken in front of the scaffolding covered temple. Can you imagine!
