The King of Pop

Michael Jackson died today. Some of you may not really care, or maybe you just think he was a weirdo, but I'm sad. I've been a fan of Michael Jackson almost my entire life. "Thriller" was released when I was five years old, and I've been hooked ever since. As a matter of fact, that song has been my ringtone for years now. Yes, I know he went a little "different", but I think we have the world to blame for that. You can only beat somebody down for so long before they break. He was an amazing talent. I believe he had a good heart. Just read some of his lyrics:

"Heal the world, make it a better place, for you and for me and the entire human race."

"We are the world. We are the children. We are the ones to make a brighter day, so let's start giving."

"I'm starting with the man in the mirror. I'm asking him to change his ways. And no message could'a been any clearer. If you wanna make the world a better place take a look at yourself and then make a change."

Again, I'm a fan. I've always been a fan. Today is a really sad day to me. However-Michael Jackson had a really hard time finding peace and happiness in this life. I hope he can find it now.

Rest in peace.
