Here's the deal. I have a weakness. Well, I have many of them, but I'm referring to one in particular. Here it is:You know why I have this weakness? Because I have "the magic". You either have it or you don't. Those who don't have it still enjoy going there, they have fun, and then they move on. The next year they usually go somewhere else, maybe to return once or even twice more. But not those who have "the magic". Having it is wonderful because it makes you see this place, this whole "world" as truly magical. You get giddy when you think you get to go there. I can't really expain it, but it makes for the best vacation ever. The down side of "the magic" is that it can make you prone to whining when it's over. You tend to moan and be pitiful every time you hear a song that is played there, and this continues until you get to go back. And you absolutely can't stand for someone else to get to go when you can't.
Herein lies the problem.
I found out yesterday that my brother is taking his family to Disneyworld in the fall. We've been invited to go along with them. Now if you've been a reader of mine for any period of time, you might remember that we just went last fall. Like six months ago. Normal people would say "Oh, that sounds great, but we were just there. It's so expensive-I think we'll pass this time." But....
"I can't stand it!"
(Have you ever seen "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"? If not, head over here. Watch the clip and then you'll know just how to say that line)
"I CAN'T STAND IT!"
So maybe we'll give in. Go with them this fall.
Don't tell the kids yet. Goodness, don't tell ME yet!
Even the towels are magical...
