Lots of Stuff...

I couldn't decide how to title this post, as there are so many things to cover.
First item of business: The annual City of McKinney Daddy Daughter Valentines Dance.
Russell and Makenna had a very nice date. I don't know when I've seen her that excited. They had a blast and even went to Walmart after the dance!
See her cute valentine earrings? It's her very first dangly pair....and the only, you should know.

Cutting a rug..

Daddy Daughter-what could be better?
Conner's 3rd birthday was on February 15th. We just had a small get-together with family at our house. He had an Elmo party last year, but when I asked him what kind of party he wanted he said "a Elmo one". (Pardon his bad grammer) So Elmo he got. It was his party, after all.
Notice Caden's shirt in the background. He recently had his 100th day of school and we had to make a t-shirt with 100 of something on it. He chose seashells. It turned out very cool.

Anyone for a little "Pin the nose on Elmo"? Chandler won, for the record.

Tonight Chandler had an "Egyptian Showcase" at school. They had made different things in art to display and did a little show-dancing and singing and such. We had to come up with some sort of costume, and here's what we ended up with. I thought he looked great! I also think his eyes are way too pretty for a boy! What I'd give for those lashes...

Fun times around here. Just staying busy. I started teaching Carter piano yesterday. He wants to play like he's been taking lessons for ten years. I think he's going to enjoy it, though. Good thing, since piano around here isn't optional.

The daddy daughter dance - so cute I can't stand it! She is adorable.

And King Tut is brilliant. Great costume. The jewels remind me of some of the funky necklaces my mom wore back in the day...

Don't you just love dimples? All five of our kids got them. Russell has one on one side and I have them on both sides, so I guess they were "doomed" to have them as well. Chandler, the oldest, only got the one, but everyone else has two like me. I love them!
